KESCO Calls for Responsible Use of Electricity During the Winter Season
As temperatures drop, electricity consumption also increases. During the colder months, the higher demand for electricity makes its efficient use even more important.
Data for the period from 1 September to 31 October 2026 show that electricity consumption among regulated customers increased by 4.1% compared to the same period last year, while the first days of November indicate a further increase of approximately 25% compared to the previous month. Therefore, responsible electricity use becomes particularly important.
Saving energy does not mean giving up heating or comfort, but rather avoiding unnecessary consumption.
Maintaining reasonable indoor temperatures, heating only the spaces we use, using electrical appliances efficiently, and switching them off when not needed are simple actions that can make a difference.
Responsible energy use helps reduce household expenses, ease the load during periods of high consumption, and ensure more efficient use of energy resources.
KESCO calls on all consumers to use electricity responsibly throughout this winter, avoiding unnecessary consumption.
Every kilowatt-hour saved makes a difference. For your household and for all of us.
