The disconnection of consumers for not updating data in KESCO continues
Even during October, actions for disconnection are continuing for consumers who have not updated their data in KESCO, according to the deadline set by the legislation in force.
All consumers who are supplied with electricity by KESCO have a legal obligation to enter into a supply contract with the company. The regulation of contractual relations with the supplier is a simple and easy process for all consumers throughout Kosovo. It is enough to visit the nearest point and the whole process will be explained there.
In addition to household consumers, KESCO has also continued meetings with business consumers to inform them as much as possible about this process, because those who benefit the most from this are undoubtedly the consumers themselves. In the first place, customer-company communication is regulated, then we have a correct address for delivery of invoices, we have the correct phone number to share information about planning from the distribution network, no one can leave you debts because the meter is placed in the name of the one that uses electricity, and many others.
Anyone who does not do this within two weeks from the date of notification by the supplier, in this case KESCO, is disconnected from the electricity network. We do this continuously, as soon as this deadline set by the legislation passes, and we will continue to do such actions in the days to come.
Given the important role that accurate and up-to-date data plays in the energy sector, KESCO is taking proactive measures to increase operational efficiency, ensure customer satisfaction and support regulatory compliance.
KESCO's mission is to create a partnership with consumers, where providing reliable energy solutions for them and keeping accurate data are two of the essential prerequisites to achieve these and strengthen this partnership as much as possible.
