Liberalization of the Energy Market - Businesses That Can Continue Supplying with Regulated Tariffs
KESCO, as the Universal Service Supplier, announces that starting from June 1, 2025, at the request of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO), all commercial consumers with an annual turnover exceeding 10 million euros or more than 50 employees will be required to enter the open market. This means they will be obligated to choose their own supplier.
All small businesses such as cafes, kiosks, boutiques, beauty salons, supermarkets, and others must prove that they do not exceed these criteria in order to continue receiving supply from KESCO with regulated tariffs. They must submit the following documents to KESCO:
-
Business certificate with the unique number
-
Consumer number (e.g., DPR1234)
The deadline to submit these documents to KESCO offices or via email at komerciale@kesco-energy.com is April 7, 2025.
