NAfter failure (drop) of Unit B2, KESCO is mobilized to supply much better the customers with energy
KESCO inform that on midnight went out of system the unit B2 of Power Plant Kosovo B. This unit produces more than 30 percent of whole country production therefore every unplanned stoppage of it causes short term problems in supply.
Only two units of power plant Kosova A are in operation which are producing around 260 megawatts / hour.
KESCO has reacted immediately and has provided quantity that covers deficit between consume and production. But this quantity of electricity can be available to customers later during the day based on international transmission capacities available. In regular circumstances, ready capacities are clarified after four hours.
In these circumstances for a short time the customers might have minimum reductions of electricity.
KESCO ensures everyone that taking into consideration the circumstances, is undertaking always all measures to supply citizens in best possible way with electricity.
